Elder Shaffer and Elder Shaffer too!!!

Sister Schloemer said:Had Shaffer 1 & Shaffer 2 over for one last dinner today after our Gulf Coast Area Stake Conference Broadcast... We'll miss your son but we are so excited he is on his way to Brazil
Dear Brother and Sister Jensen,
We recieved word today that Elder Bryce Shaffer had recieved his Visa to Brazil. We are excited for him to get to his original destination but we are so thankful for the kindness and tender mercies that he has been given while inthe Tallahasse mission. We feel like he has been blessed to have two missions in one.His cousin Jeryd coming to that same mission has been such an unusual situation but a blessing to both of them. It has been fun to have Elder Shaffer One and Elder Shaffer TOO! The cousins live only a mile apart so you can imagine how funny that was when Jeryd called me and asked me to guess where his call was to. I laughed and said TALLAHASSE, FLORIDA?? figuring that was the least obvious place. He said "YES"...I knew Bryce would be thrilled!. To say the least, it was a sweet first Christmas on the mission for both and I can imagine the laughter. I am sure you both had a hand in that. With grateful hearts ,Max and I want to thank you for the experiences that The Lord and the two of you have given our son.I am sure this will hold as a lifetime memory for both!!
Love ,Jan and Max Shaffer
Hi...
It has been our privilege to have your Elder Shaffer in our mission. We love him ! He always makes me happy when I see him--always with a grin on his face---and it is contagious... What a wonderful job you both have done in raising him...Thank you for sending us such an awesome young elder--even if it was for only a short time...you know we have really mixed feelings about this transfer.....we so hoped that he could stay with us--but, Heavenly Father knows where he is needed, and we will be obedient!! Darn!!! I think it was wonderful that they could be close for Christmas...I'll bet that doesn't happen often that cousins are in the same mission at the same time--lucky them...
Again--thanks for sharing--he will have a successful mission because he is a successful missionary--we could tell that the minute he walked off the plane and we talked to him...he willl be blessed for his service!
Much love,
Sister Jensen
